Nominations for Unisource's CMYK Idol reveal Flash and Somerset among Canada's favourite print reps!
Last month, print buyers and designers across the country had the opportunity to nominate their favourite print reps for the CMYK Idol contest, presented by Unisource. Flash Reproductions is proud to have earned three out of the four top nominee positions for the Ontario region (not including Ottawa).
“My CMYK Idol nomination provides an opportunity for me to reflect on the work I do and think about the people I work with in order to make the impossible possible,” says Andrew Likakis.
Fellow nominee Rich Pauptit is also happy to be recognized as part of the team at Flash. “Who doesn’t enjoy a little reassurance that people like what you do?” he says. “What makes me proud is seeing my team at Flash getting the recognition they deserve […] I love that our customers like our team as much as I do.”
David Gallant agrees, pointing to the collaborative element as a major factor in his nomination. “I love working with designers, combining their creativity with Flash’s expertise to push the boundaries of the print medium,” he says. “Without great design, you can’t create great print.”
Ian Budge of Somerset Graphics Co. Ltd. in Mississauga earned the fourth nomination slot for the region.
With a focus on showing appreciation to hard-working individuals in the print industry, the CMYK Idol contest is about recognizing Canada’s top print sales representatives. To cast your vote, visit: http://learn.unisourceworldwide.com/UCIDesignCMYK2012VoteOntarioFormEn before October 29th!
