Fill out the CreativeEarners survey before June 16th to help build a profile of our industry!
04/06/14
Since launching last month, over 2,000 creative professionals across Canada have filled out the National Survey of Salaries and Billing Practices in the Communication Design Industry. Add your voice so that we have the most valuable results ever!

The Survey is available in both English and French and aims to provide insight into Canada's communications sector, tabulating how creative professionals are compensated and valued. The findings will provide a better economic understanding of our industry and will help our industry benchmark salaries and billing rates across job types, sector and region. Fill it out at creativeearners.ca.

Benefits of filling out the survey:

  • Be entered into draws to win great prizes, including a free pass to see speakers Jessica Walsh, Erik Spiekermann, Debbie Millman and other design icons at DesignThinkers 2014
  • Receive the findings directly to your email inbox as soon as they are available
  • Contribute to a valuable national resource to help creative professionals become more informed about salaries and billing practices in our industry

"This study is only as good as the diversity of those who contribute to it. It provides us all with valuable information about our profession and the greater the participation, the more accurate the findings.”

– Bob Hambly RGD, Creative Director, Hambly & Woolley Inc., Toronto

"The CreativeEarners Survey is an essential tool. It helps owners understand the competitive landscape for project fees and employee salaries, and helps designers understand their place in the larger financial ecosystem. We have referred to it for years and have pointed many designers toward it.”
– Matthew Clark, Principal & Creative Director, Subplot Design Inc., Vancouver

“We all want to make sure we're being paid fairly for what you do. The CreativeEarners Survey is one of the best ways to do that. We use it to decide how to pay our staff and our staff use it to see what they should be getting paid. The thing is, it only works if we participate. Take the survey, add your information and help us help ourselves. You’ll be glad you did.”
– Shawn King, President / Chief Creative Officer, Extreme Group, Halifax

We want to hear from you!

Eligible job titles include, but are not limited to: Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Developer, Digital Strategist, Web designer, Marketing Manager, Copywriter, Social Media Manager, Brand Strategist, Account Coordinator.

The survey closes on June 16 and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. All information will be kept completely confidential and used only in aggregate with data collected from others participating in the survey. Fill it out at creativeearners.ca.
