Description

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) is an independent, national, non-governmental organization that works in the courts, before legislative committees, in classrooms and in the streets to fight for human rights and democratic freedoms of people across Canada. The invitation for its 50th annual fundraising gala honours the individuals being recognized at the event. In the “Act For Freedom” booklet, each of the 17 honorees answer the question “what do civil liberties mean to you?” The gala was a success and raised over $100,000.
