L’association des Banques alimentaires du Québec (Quebec Association of Foodbanks) represents 18 food banks that supply 1,064 community organizations, helping thousands of people every month, 37% of whom are children. The Association’s annual report is presented as a can of food, which is a widely recognized symbol of food donation. The use of black, yellow and white, the contrast of bold typography against delicate text and the contrasting sizes of key elements all serve to highlight significant results in the report and reinforce the message.
I love the simple but clever use of the can as a container for the annual report. Paired with bold typography and infographics, this report really stands out.–Lisa Nakamura
