Dominic Ayre RGD

Dominic has worked in Toronto's design community for over 20 years. As Creative Director at Hambly & Woolley, and faculty at OCAD University, he is an enthusiastic mentor to new designers and is well known for his expertise in typography, web platforms, design trends and popular culture.

 

Reggie Bamrah RGD

Reggie has a passion for combining type and visuals in new and creative ways to break down complex information into manageable pieces. He loves all styles of illustration and enjoys drawing influence from that area as well, often using bold colours and shapes within his designs.

 

Rodrigo Barreda RGD
Rodrigo is a Toronto-based designer with 20 years experience, primarily in the not-for-profit sector. An Advertising graduate from OCADU, he combines creative and conceptual skills with a passion for design and innovation in addressing social issues. Rodrigo is Manager of Graphic Design at United Way Toronto & York Region.


Marina Beniaminov RGD
As a principal designer with Pixel Studios, Marina is a versatile creative professional with experience in corporate, environmental and web design. Over the span of her career, Marina worked with Ford, Hyundai, LCBO, General Electric, Invesco, BMO, Royal Ontario Museum and TD. Marina loves to continuously learn new technologies and trends to tell better visual stories.


Stefan Canuel RGD
Stefan is an award-winning designer with more than twenty years experience in the design and creative industry, including high-profile exhibition design and print. As a professional, he works every day to forge profound links between organizations and their audiences through clear, creative, effective and well-managed designs and strategies.


Roberto Carreiro RGD
Roberto Carreiro is an award-winning art director specializing in multimedia productions and print. Since graduating from the design program at Sheridan College, he has played a leading role in successful projects in a variety of industries. Roberto’s talents as a problem-solving design specialist have taken him across Canada and around the world.

 

Chase Carson RGD
Chase is a Senior Graphic Designer at MCAP, a large independent mortgage finance company. Throughout a decade of art and creative direction experience, Chase has designed packaging lines for retail stores like Walmart, Target, Canadian Tire, Costco and a myriad of others. Chase holds a degree in Graphic Design and diplomas in Marketing and Accounting.

 

Matthew Clark RGD
Matthew is an internationally-recognized Creative Director and Designer, and Founder of Subplot Design Inc. based in Vancouver. Matthew’s work, which focuses on retail branding and packaging, has been recognized with over 250 awards; has been published in over 75 articles worldwide; and is part of the collections of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and the Design Exchange.

 

Mary Davis RGD
A packaging enthusiast with a love for a good dieline, Mary strives to make the world a more colourful place, one design at a time. As a Senior Graphic Designer at Korkola Design Communications in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she produces work for clients including Wildly Canadian and OLG.

 

Jason Dauphinee RGD
With a career in the design and advertising industry spanning 20 years, Jason is a seasoned and recognized conceptual thinker with a host of local and national expertise. His ability to connect with a client’s needs and communicate them in a simple, clever and effective manner, is second to none.

 

Denver Dewar RGD
Graphic Design grabbed hold of Denver at an early age through skateboard graphics. It is the functional application of art and endless possibilities that continue to motivate him to design. Denver has worked with national companies and organizations, completing a wide range of branding, website and communication projects.

 

Amy Eaton RGD
Amy is a multidisciplinary designer based in Toronto. She uses her expertise in typography, layout and communication to design all manners of marketing materials for a wide range of industries including publishing, architecture and software. She enjoys thoughtful packaging and travelling to broaden her perspective on design.

 

Alisha Giroux RGD
Alisha is currently Art Director at Greenmelon Inc. with expertise in illustration, branding and package design. Her designs have been published for such clients as the Royal Canadian Mint, Farm Boy and the Canadian Museum of History. She has also published work with two NY Times bestselling authors and in children’s books.

 

Sasha Goldstein RGD
Sasha is a digital product designer in Vancouver, BC, whose eight-year design career also includes work in copywriting, marketing, brand-building, advertising and strategy. He uses his acute eye for detail, polished aesthetic and diverse background to outsell the other lemonade vendors on his block. He also works in-house as a Sr. Designer for SAXX Underwear.

 

Raj Grainger RGD
Raj is a multidisciplinary graphic designer who lives and works in Toronto. After dropping out of architecture school, he studied conceptual art and media design. Raj now focuses primarily on print- and identity-based projects and likes to collaborate with cultural and educational institutions, non-profits and other creative types.

 

Erin Grandmaison RGD
Erin is an in-house graphic designer for Bruce Power's award-winning Creative Services team. She is a graduate of Sheridan College’s graphic design program and has 17 years experience working in the industry. She has helped produce award winning designs for Adidas, Air Canada, MLSE, York University, Ryerson University and Multisport Canada.

 

Kyle Greenwood RGD
Kyle is a designer and educator in Toronto whose work largely focuses on non-profit initiatives that provoke thought, comment and action. He has created a popsicle-themed sexual health resource for The AIDS Committee of Toronto. Kyle is also an Instructor at Toronto Film School specializing in digital imaging, drawing, typography and portfolio development.

 

Donna Graffi-Smith RGD
Donna is a graphic design manager at Deloitte in Vancouver, who always has a smile on her face. She loves working with a team of highly talented designers, marketers and professions across Canada, and globally, on a variety of challenges that comes her way.

 

Jaimie Hallarn RGD
Jaimie is an Art Director at Fusion Design Group, co-leading the creative team. Jaimie graduated with honours from Georgian’s graphic design program, and completed the advanced digital design program at George Brown. Jaimie has a proficiency for editorial and typographic design, showcased most recently in her line of stationery sold through Chapters/Indigo.

 

Teodor Herman RGD
Teo has contributed to a wide range of design projects for clients in various industries including corporate communications, branding, websites and signage & wayfinding. After studying design in Berlin, Germany, he returned to Toronto and graduated from OCADU. Since then, he has devoted his professional career to exploring the ability of design to impact communication and perception.

 

Jessica Holder RGD
Jess is the creative mind and founder of SpringStudio.ca. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to projects and worked with clients of all kinds. Jess is a strong multidisciplinary designer who loves a challenge, learning and leveraging new technology and trends, allowing her to constantly develop and grow as a design thinker.

 

Michelle Hopgood RGD
Michelle has a Bachelor of Design from OCADU and her Masters in Information, specializing in Knowledge and Information Management, from the University of Toronto. She is the lead Graphic Designer at U of T’s Rotman School’s Martin Prosperity Institute where she focuses on infographics, data visualization and design.

 

Philip Larway RGD
Phil works for the in-house creative team at Capital One Canada. As they work towards becoming a digital leader, he is a key performer on the website redesign and lead designer for digital advertising.

 

Brenda Little RGD
Brenda is Senior Designer at Pivot Design Group, a UX studio in Toronto. Since graduating from George Brown College in 2011, she worked at Gravity Inc. for 5 years prior to joining Pivot. Brenda is excited to see the increasingly vital role of design in the world and its potential to have positive impact.

 

Tomomi Lo RGD
Tomomi joined RGD to meet fellow creative minds who share her passion for innovation in art, design and marketing. As an OCADU alumna, Tomomi’s professional experiences have allowed her to do compelling work in web, corporate branding and marketing. Tomomi currently oversees design and marketing responsibilities at a leading national coaching corporation.

 

Helena Maaranen RGD
Helena is a Toronto-based Graphic Designer, working at Manulife as a Production Artist. She has extensive experience designing in the corporate world, having worked at TD, then starting Luova Creative, providing design services to small businesses. Helena graduated from George Brown College’s graphic design program and is proud to become an RGD.

 

Kathryn Manley Curtiss RGD
Kathryn graduated from Applied Photography at Sheridan College in 2004 and Graphic Design at Sault College in 2011 with honours. Kathryn is efficient in multiple aspects of design, however she specifically enjoys creating layouts, websites and logos. She is very detail oriented and holds a high standard to everything she produces.

 

Terence McGuire RGD
Creative director for a multinational firm, Terence is beyond passionate about the graphic design industry, which has shaped his family and defined his life. He met his wife at design school, has an art director for a daughter and another daughter on her way to a wonderful career in design.

 

Jimena Mota RGD
Jimena is a freelance designer and art director specializing in print media. Since graduating from OCADU in 2001, she has worked at various Toronto-based agencies, where she specializes in corporate branding and promotional design. From concept to completion, Jimena provides her clients with a one-stop shop for all their creative needs.

 

Luke Murphy RGD
Luke is a writer and animator. He still has an Irish accent after years in Toronto. He’s worked on scripts, cartoons and title sequences for shows on CBC, HBO, Discovery and more. Currently, he’s making hilarious cartoons about the most evil and depraved things that happen in nature.

 

Erin Ockochinski RGD
Erin is a graphic designer and freelance illustrator based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her specialties include 3D design, illustration and novel cover design. In her 7 years with a trade show and event company, she has had the opportunity to work with numerous industries, while also collaborating with authors to illustrate their work.

 

Megan Rousseau RGD
Megan is a strategic graphic design and marketing-communications consultant who uses her love of nature and travel to influence her designs. Her approach is collaborative, working closely with her clients to achieve the results that fit with their strategy, while pushing creative boundaries and encouraging abstract thinking.

 

Alana Ruoso RGD
Alana’s design experience is vast and eclectic. She has worked in corporate communications, book and magazine publishing, retail packaging, and the music industry. With over a decade of teaching experience, Alana is dedicated to education. She thrives helping others pave their own distinct path and looks forward to connecting with other creatives through the RGD.

 

Dali Rundo RGD
Dali Rundo is a graphic designer and illustrator for whom creativity is a way of life. She has over 10 years of experience in working with iconic brands. In her role as a senior designer at Toronto-based creative agency, The 4D, Dali is a key member of an award-winning team that has received multiple accolades.

 

Rami Schandall RGD
Rami Schandall is principal designer and owner of Visual Creative, a Toronto design studio with clients from a diverse range of industries. A multi-disciplinary artist and writer, she elucidates, illuminates and electrifies stories, meanings and processes with unique design and clean solutions in any medium.

 

Kyle Schruder RGD
Kyle's career has evolved from creating magazines and reports to designing client experiences. He is now an Associate at Bridgeable, working internally to enhance their current client journey—anything from marketing materials early in the engagement to ways to follow up after the project ends.

 

Mike Scott RGD
Mike is a London, Ontario-based designer with a focus on brand, print and digital design. After 10 years working in various design agencies, Mike co-founded FUSE Creative Solutions, a design and digital studio, where he leads design and brand strategy. Mike also teaches graphic design at Fanshawe College.

 

Iliana Sergeev RGD
Iliana never lost her child-like drive and endless curiosity. As the founder of a multi-disciplinary design studio, Iliana’s passion for problem-solving and communication is not bound by definitions, as she pushes the line where graphic design meets dimensional experiences. She is a visionary designer with experience spanning numerous industries.

 

Simone St. Aimée RGD
Simone is a Graphic Designer/Art Director whose twenty-year career spans from advertising agencies to now in-house design. She puts a level of passion, creativity and enthusiasm into her work that will either drive you crazy or you’ll love it. Simone has been recognized by the CMA’s, IABC and RGD.

 

Janet Straker RGD
Janet is Principal/Creative Director at Ebb + Flow Creative with over 18 years of experience. Her highly developed conceptual skills and design strategies have helped successfully renovate businesses, products and experiences. Her ambitions are not just about creating outstanding brands and campaigns; they are about making the human connection.

 

Stephanie Strawbridge RGD
As an employee of TC Transcontinental, Stephanie creates marketing replenishment materials for major retailers. She holds a specialized degree from York University and has received recognition from the Adobe Achievement Awards. With an undergraduate thesis examining web accessibility for the visually-impaired, she reveres graphic design as an instrument for advocacy.

 

Giuliana Tarini RGD
Born and raised in North Bay, Ontario, Giuliana moved to Toronto to pursue her passion for art and design. She graduated from OCADU where she specialized in print design and creating identities. She now works as a lead in-house designer for the College of Early Childhood Educators—a large Regulatory Body in Ontario.

 

Dzung Tran RGD
Dzung is a Senior Design Director at Interbrand Canada and is responsible for developing strategic design solutions for clients. His work in brand identity, guidelines, annual report and interactive design has been recognized by The Advertising & Design Club of Toronto, Black Book Best 100 Annual Reports, Applied Arts magazine and RGD.

 

Jessica Vitale RGD
Jessica is the National Graphic Design Manager at DIALOG – an interdisciplinary design firm with five studios across North America. A graduate of OCADU, Jessica has been working as a graphic designer and creative lead for over 12 years. Jessica thrives working on branding and brand implementation in both print and digital.

 

Sehba Wakil RGD
As an analytic, out-of-the-box thinker, Sehba enjoys solving problems with innovative design. To Sehba, design is not just an art; it is a solution that can bring inspiring innovation to marketing and other business challenges.

 

Katie Wilhelm RGD
Katie is the Marketing and Design Specialist responsible for bringing the local and global communications of the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) to life. As a purveyor of creative economy, Katie has been involved in the creative sector as an event organizer, community builder, consultant and entrepreneur since 2009.

 

Nayla Yehia RGD
Nayla is a senior graphic designer with experience in branding and publication design. She spent the last few years working as a freelancer with clients around the world, and has recently joined the in-house design team at Kira Systems. Nayla invests a lot of time into research, strategy and information architecture to reach comprehensive solutions.
