"I wanted to create a bold, graphic design that holds up well at the small sticker size, and also pay tribute (in this, Canada’s 150th anniversary) to the great Canadian designers from the past," explains Zavacky. "I personally love those inspired by great Swiss design (Burton Kramer RGD Emeritus, Ernst Roch, Rolf Harder, etc.), and for me, Stuart Ash RGD Emeritus, who designed the Canada Centennial maple leaf logo. I tip my design hat to the maple leaf design inside the eye in my RGD sticker."
