Student RGDs are challenged to post nature-inspired projects throughout the month of March
05/02/18

RGD's Student Committee has launched #RGDStudentChallenges - an Instagram challenge spanning three months.

Student RGD Members are invited to post projects based on a new theme each month for the opportunity to be featured on the RGD Instagram page, the RGD website and win a $500 Scholarship + FREE registration to attend DesignThinkers Vancouver*!

*To be considered for the Scholarship, you must post your project by 11:59pm Sunday, March 18.

In February, March and April, Student RGDs are invited to share a project on Instagram that shows off your talent and expresses our them for the month.

February's theme was RED, inspired by RGD and Valentine's Day. Thank you to all those who shared! You can see the top 10 submissions here.

March's theme is NATURE, inspired by Spring and Earth Day. Post your favourite projects with elements from nature.

April's theme to be announced!

Your post can be an existing project you created for school or for fun, or you may wish to show off your creativity by designing something completely new!

"The Student Committee thought it would be great to use Instagram as a platform to get Student RGDs involved with the RGD community," explains Logan McKinnon, Student RGD & Co-Chair of RGD's Student Committee. "I can't wait to see the work students will be posting!"

Jordan Jackson, Student RGD & Logan's Co-Chair, adds, "We wanted to give students a platform centred around a common theme to show their work, receive recognition and interact with other Student RGDs all across Canada. While we're very excited about the community-building aspect of this challenge, we know students are producing some fantastic work and want to help them get some well-deserved recognition for that work."
