Provides leadership and management of the college brand and corporate communications to achieve strategic college goals. Provides leadership in the development of marketing and communication plans to achieve strategic college goals. As part of these duties, core accountabilities will include providing leadership on content, design and development of all college corporate and promotional material such as the college websites and online presence, guides, viewbooks, brochures, posters, advertisements, social media, and related matters. The incumbent will also lead the development and management of the college brand identity and all other associated visual identities for college divisions, will develop and implement an annual college marketing plan in alignment to key strategic priorities and in collaboration with the communications and recruitment teams, and will development annual GTM plans for each academic school / departments in alignment to broader college strategic GTM plan.
Minimum 3-year Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Communications (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of practical experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the education sector, along with agency management experience and experience in paid media management. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who possesses good project management skills to develop and execute on marketing plans for the college to meet strategic objectives, and who has demonstrated leadership and team building skills. The successful candidate will be familiar with social channels and will display strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and consultation skills along with excellent relationship building skills, and demonstrated ability to enthusiastically engage a wide range of audiences. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and participate in consultative decision-making. Service-oriented, highly focused on client groups and partner relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products is required. The ability to manage people in a complex, unionized environment is required. Commitment to advancing the Mission and Values of the College is essential.
Salary and Terms
In addition to the annual salary range of $82,788 - $103,485, the compensation package includes a performance-based salary program and a comprehensive benefit package. Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
