This position will be working closeley and collaboratively with the firm’s Partners and Director of Interiors, to develop interior and exterior signage and wayfnding packages; support place-making and visual identity strategies through environmental graphics and frit patterns; strengthen accessibility and inclusivity; and reinforce each client’s brand.
This is a senior / director level position, you must have experience leading projects and teams; mentoring junior staff; presenting to clients; coordinating with fabrictors and installers; assembling working drawing sets and details; model, sketch, and develop studies for concept options; and overseeing installation on site.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in a Graphic Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or Architecture Program.
- Advanced user in Adobe Graphic Programs with literacy in SketchUp and CAD or Revit an asset.
- Familiarity with AODA, Accessibility, and Building Code standards and guidelines related to signage in the built environment.
- Both familiarity with and leading the latest trends and innovations in fabrication processses, materials, pictograms, and accesibile and inclusive thinking.
You must demonstrate a passion for design excellence and innovation, be a strong communicator, and contribute eagerly. You must be highly motivated, organized, assertive, and willing to engage in the open and collaborative environment of the office.
