Graphic Designer - St. Catharines
Form & Affect is a digital-first creative agency. From our storefront studio in downtown St. Catharines, we execute specialized strategies and creative campaigns for clients ranging from small local start-ups to established global brands. Looking to do work that makes a difference? Our agency needs an inspired Graphic Designer to join our close-knit team.


You will collaborate with our Creative Director and content team on an array of digital and print assets. We are looking for a designer with strong design sensibilities, a passion for building new brands, and a solid knowledge of both print and digital production. You'll be a key member of our team, responsible for the creation of:

  • Compelling brand identities, logos, guidelines and asset libraries
  • Mood boards, style guides and concept art
  • Branded print and marketing collateral such as brand kits, stationery, flyers, postcards, posters, brochures, booklets, reports and infographics
  • Thumb-stop social graphics and display advertising
  • Engaging presentations and compelling pitch decks
  • Email marketing campaign graphics, layouts and templates
  • Video bumpers, overlays and visual treatments
  • Effective packaging


Our ideal candidate has a solid understanding of design psychology, typography, color theory, print and digital production skills, and is able to work collaboratively with our existing team of designers, developers and content producers.


  • Minimum two years’ graphic design industry experience
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates a solid range of print and digital design work with accompanying rationales to explain the thinking, process and outcomes
  • The ability to produce deliverables with speed, excellence and accuracy
  • Extreme attention to detail, including top-notch organizing and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional eye for color, layout, typography
  • Experience in taking projects from concept ideation, through strategy and to finished product
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite applications—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple projects, work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Coachable and collaborative in learning existing brand standards and able to identify opportunities/gaps
  • Ability to lead design initiatives and take ownership of projects
  • Understanding of costs for the most impactful design and production within a client’s budget
  • Knowledge of print preparation, mechanicals, separations and production
  • Ability to pitch creative concepts to internal teams and external clients
  • A passion for design history with an eye on current design trends and how they influence the world of branding, marketing and advertising
  • A lifetime learner with a passion for advancing their craft
  • A thoughtful, strategic designer with demonstrated experience in creating beautifully executed identities, layouts and typographic treatments



  • Experience in drawing, illustration, motion graphics, animations, video or photography
  • Have worked on UX/UI for the web or mobile applications
