The OpportunityWe are looking for a passionate Creative Services Manager, with an agency and/or design studio background who can help our team deliver marketing in new and exciting ways. This role is designed to drive traffic to support the company revenue and market share goals, in addition to being responsible for all creative content from development through to execution.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and E-Commerce, this role requires an individual with creative skills across many disciplines, and the ability to motivate the graphics team to “move mountains”. As the Creative Services lead, you see the big picture while understanding the bottom line implications, translating both into coaching and mentoring terms for your team while inspiring them with your insights and conceptual abilities.
In addition, you’ll need to tackle the function of estimating projects, and setting expectations and deliverables for your team that optimize production. In support of the company goals, this role will provide effective leadership to a team of talented graphic design professionals, with a concentrated focus on organizational efficiency and accuracy.
Your ResponsibilitiesCreative: On a day to day basis you’ll be responsible for the design and development of ideas that form the framework for our retail marketing programs, and lead the creative resources required to execute the ideas. Your key responsibilities will include creative leadership, project management and production of all marketing collateral. You have an exceptional ability to provide new creative ideas to keep abreast of evolving marketing/advertising trends in addition to being able to leverage Tepperman’s digital data to identify trends and marketing environments on a geographic basis.
Production Management: In addition to your creative expertise, you’ll need to tackle the function of estimating projects, and setting expectations and deliverables for your team that optimize production. In support of the company goals, this role will provide effective leadership with a concentrated focus on organizational efficiency and accuracy.
People Leadership: As a key player in collaborative agency, retail or B2C marketing environment, you enjoy fast-paced, a high-performance workflow, and have a knack for garnering fans across teams and individuals. You enjoy sharing and encouraging others to stretch their boundaries, love a good challenge, and value respect and teamwork, all while ensuring that business objectives are being monitored and met.
- Promotional graphic design experience in InDesign, Illustrator and/or Adobe Suite
- A degree or diploma in in a relevant field (Marketing, Graphic Design, and/or Commerce)
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with a preference towards retail
- Minimum of 2+ years in a related supervisory role
- RGD designation considered an asset
