The theme for the 21st year of DesignThinkers, conceptualized and designed by john st., is Sound On.

Great design should be seen and heard. That’s why at DesignThinkers 2020, we want to celebrate not just amazing design, but also the diverse voices behind the work. The event will feature some of the world’s best designers, each with unique perspectives and powerful stories to share. 

We asked Cole Sullivan, Founding Partner, Creative, Array of Stars, about becoming our Web Partner for DesignThinkers 2020. “With RGD attracting top design thinkers from around the world and Array of Stars being a leading digital design firms, we couldn’t pass up on an opportunity to partner with RGD & john st. in support of the broader design community. The concept is about celebrating the voices of the speakers, emphasizing their individuality through varied typography and colour — The creative team over here was happy to bring this experience to life.”

DesignThinkers 2020 takes place in Vancouver on May 26 and 27 and in Toronto on November 5 and 6. Registration for Vancouver is now open. Super Advanced early bird rates end December 20. (Registration for Toronto will open in April.)
