MET Fine Printers
Vancouver, BC

As the world continues to evolve, MET is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients and partners. We are making every effort to ensure we can provide you with the timely service you are used to, while providing safe working conditions. We continue to do our part by supplying essential items to our community during this difficult time. Thanks to the hand sanitizers created by Yaletown Distiller, and in partnership with Letterbox Design, we’ve donated thousands of bottles to frontline workers at the Vancouver General Hospital and Vancouver Police Department. In partnership with our neighbour Oceanking Manufacturing, we were also able to provide the Vancouver Police Department with 500 protective masks. Additionally, a group of creatives at Very Polite Agency from Vancouver embarked on a worldwide initiative with a simple goal to unite global artists and help UNICEF in the fight against COVID-19. MET collaborated with Very Polite on covering all print costs for the large format posters. Proceeds will go to UNICEF’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to help provide urgently needed medical supplies to children and families affected in countries hit hardest by the virus.

Flash Reproductions
Etobicoke, ON

Through Operation Canadian Shield, we've been able to produce and donate thousands of face shields to frontline workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re raising money for this initiative through GoFundMe and have received over $55K of our $60K goal thus far, with 100% of proceeds going to the cause. The Flash team is following all government-recommended safety precautions and we also continue to remain open for our design clients.

Rightsleeve
Toronto, ON

We're giving back to the community while you give back to your team. Whether it’s kits to help your employees feel more connected, hoodies to make their work-from-home experience as comfy as possible, or gifts to welcome them back to work — Rightsleeve will be donating 10% of every order for employees to one of three featured organizations; WWF Canada, Building Roots and Masking Together. Click to learn more about the Make Goods give-back program.

Moveable
Toronto, ON

Moveable remains fully operational as we adapt to the realities of these unprecedented times. Our offset, digital and large-format printing departments are functioning under strict safety protocols. Operators are working in silos and keeping their distances from each other, surfaces are disinfected regularly, frequent hand washing is mandated and in-person meetings and client visits are cancelled. Meanwhile, our typesetters, proofreaders, estimators and administrative staff have all relocated to home offices and are carrying on without missing much of a beat. We wish all our colleagues and clients a safe journey through these difficult times. Be careful. Be patient. This too shall pass.

Storia Photo + Video
Oakville, ON

As we know, physical distancing continues to be critical in mitigating the spread of COVID-19. For Storia, this means that filming of new projects continues to be on hold. However we continue working on the editing of various projects. We've also had requests from clients to find ways of repurposing video footage from previously completed projects to create more social media content. Planning for future projects continues. A few are in full pre-production, planning the details so we can proceed with next steps as soon as we are allowed to get back to working with clients in person. Others are at the exploratory stage, which is where everything begins for us; just a casual conversation to brainstorm some ideas of how video would be able to help achieve business goals. Just because we cannot work with clients face-to-face right now, doesn’t mean we can’t help them find an effective video marketing solution. If you are interested in a casual chat to find out how you could be using video to grow your business, email  or DM us through IG @storiaphotovideo. We would love to share some of our knowledge.

Category 5 Imaging
Burlington, ON

This pandemic is affecting everyone in different ways. While it has been a time of hardship, it has also been a time of unity. We have been inspired by this unity, and are very proud of our employees who have been volunteering to help those in need. As a company, Category 5 has made it a priority to look for ways we can help our community and refocus our business to do whatever we can to help. We have used our collective creative abilities to produce COVID-19 signage related to social distancing measures and designed / engineered printing substrates to offer PPE solutions to our customers and the public. Additionally, we are in the process of working with trusted partners to find broader solutions for our clients concerns in the new reality. These include graphic materials engineered to combat the spread of infectious diseases and temperature reading instruments. We welcome new partners that are seeking such products and welcome opportunities to collaborate on new shared ideas. Email .

Hero Images
Calgary, AB

Remote working week ten. The demand for stock imagery has not diminished and the Hero team is still busy serving our customers, producing shoots, and planning for the future as it is revealed to us. Behind the scenes, we're working on ways to make your search for images easier, curating relevant galleries and offering free image research to those who have better things to do (read: teach your child grade 4 math). As things start to open up, we're looking into ways to grow production while adhering to provincial regulations. Keeping in line with our values of quality, innovation, and efficiency, we're planning shoots that marry in-demand content, such as diversity, with relevant and timely themes. (spoiler alert: masks!) While we are busy, we're still counting down the days to when we can gather around our boardroom table and share in some home-baked goods that seem to creep into our office on a regular basis. Stay safe everyone.

Depositphotos
New York, USA

At Depositphotos, we look to support nonprofit organizations and educational bodies during these tough times. We’ve opened up access to a library of free visuals to provide a go-to source of images for communities and organizations. There are tailored offers available for access to visual content on our website which can be used for educational and other non-commercial purposes. This program is suitable for arts, architecture, and design schools, as well as educational courses on social media management, marketing, PR, and for creative communities. With us, students and organizations can cover all their needs with licensed visual content for current and future projects.

AFIX Poster Display

Montreal, QC

At AFIX, we understand that a quick economic recovery depends on businesses’ ability to protect their personnel and clientele. We've launched a safe, elegant and eco-responsible solution to address social distancing in public facilities. AFIX’s locally-made and custom-made tension displays were re-imagined and now feature thin, clear polyester sheets. Standard acrylic protection shields currently on the market offer physical protection, but are heavy and expensive to ship. Most importantly, they will add millions of tons of highly polluting waste worldwide. Replacing plexiglass sheets with thin polyester film (PET sheets) was the most simple and effective way to address this issue. PET sheets and plastic water bottles are identical in their composition and thickness, so they’ll recycle just as easily! Shipping unassembled in a light box, and installing in minutes without any tools, our COVID barriers and partitions are ideally suited for counters, desk and office separators. They are durable and easy to clean. Fully modular, they allow you to interconnect modules of all shapes around your office space. Imagine self-standing modules connected in a straight line, or in zig-zag, “V”, “U”, “Y” or even curved-shapes. Order at: posterdisplay.com / .
