As Creative Director, Nelson plays a lead role in setting the creative standard for Works Design, while ensuring that projects keep moving and teams stay motivated. He works collaboratively with designers, to make sure they have the support and opportunities they need to contribute their best work. He also works directly with clients, to transform their objectives into breakthrough creative.
What will you be personally looking for from the entrants to identify winning work?
I’ll be looking for a sense of realism when reviewing the student's work. It’s important to consider creative solutions for real-life challenges. Although I love a good concept, details in the execution are also key for me. Make sure you consider clear, easy to understand usability, as well as typography and page composition.
