RGD's 2022 Student Awards Open for Entries

Through the support of our Sponsors, the RGD will distribute over $20,000 in cash awards for to Canadian design students this year.
 

Students enrolled in graphic design and related programs across Canada are invited to submit up to 5 pieces of work for the 2022 Awards in categories ranging from Typography to Web Design, Accessible Design to Motion Design, Packaging Design to Social Good Design. New this year is an Award specifically for Students who have just completed their first year of study. (Conditions apply.)

 

Deadline: May 20, 2022, 12 pm PT

 

Each Student Award-winner will receive a $750 cash prize, Awards Certificate, recognition across RGD communications channels and a free RGD Membership until the end of 2023.

 

Any eligible student who enters will receive constructive feedback on their work from among our 100+ judges. 

 

Since its launch in 1998, the RGD has distributed over $350,000 CAD through our Student Awards Program. 

 

Again with support from our generous sponsors, the RGD is proud to present the Student Trailblazer Awards for the second year to celebrate and recognize the unique journeys and barriers many students face as they develop their design skills. An additional $5,000 will be distributed for these Awards. 

 

Students from under-represented and marginalized communities can apply to receive recognition and cash Awards as part of our Trailblazer Awards. If this applies to you and you are interested, please make note as part of your entry.
 
The winners will be notified on September.
