Uncover your value and complete the Creative Earners Survey by Monday, June 6 to help us all understand what we’re worth. And to win prizes!
Launched by the RGD in partnership with Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), this confidential online survey helps Canadian creatives get a better understanding of our industry, how the pandemic has impacted our community and provides an up-to-date economic profile of the field and those working in it.
The 2022 Salary Survey takes about approximately 15 minutes to complete and is divided into several sections. The first, a primary section on salaries, takes about 4 minutes to complete. Other sections each take about 5 minutes and are optional questions based on your work situation, whether you freelance or teach, in addition to working, and then also on professional development and mental health.
Answer sections for a chance to win prizes that include $500 to be utilized towards RGD Membership or events, GDC Membership worth $200, Pricing Creativity Action Pack Plus package from Blair Enns worth $400 and a collection of various resources curated for your professional growth.
Currently available in English (French will be available the week of March 28).
A report on the results will be available to all in November 2022.
"Personally, Creative Earners is one of the RGD programs nearest and dearest to my heart (and my wallet). It's important to foster confidence and raise up our talent across the industry. The team at Deloitte has generously contributed to design this year's brand and they have done an amazing job. Themes of redaction vs transparency run through the work, while also speaking in a fun and engaging voice. I think creatives of all stripes will identify with it, share it, but most importantly, they'll want to be part of it," offers Julian Brown RGD, Vice President, RGD Communication.
A special thank you to Members of the Creative Earners Sub-Committee Esther Sunghee Byun RGD, Marc Lauriault RGD, Jack Henry Provisional RGD and Sissa Morgado Provisional RGD, who volunteered their time to help develop this year's Survey.
