Congratulations to the 2022 RGD So(cial) Good Design Award Winners!
16/05/22
The 54 winning projects of the RGD's biannual international design competition celebrate the undeniable power of design to incite meaningful action and create positive change.

As the challenges we face today have grown in complexity and gravity, so has the responsibility of our community to design with purpose, address a variety of issues and make a difference through our work.

Through the unprecedented times of the past two years, designers across the world have shown their value by working to support their communities through designing infographics, signage, campaigns for the community to stay connect and more. The entries received this year are a testament to the power design holds to influence and connect our society.

We congratulate and celebrate the winning firms, agencies, individuals and students for the work they have done through particularly challenging times and for having risen up to the occasion to support organizations faced with increased need from the communities they serve.

The winners will be honoured at a ceremony taking place on June 1 at the Vancouver Playhouse as part of the DesignThinkers Conference. An exhibit of the winners will travel across Canada launching at the Vancouver Public Library, (Central Library Branch) (May 29 to June 10), followed by Stanley A. Milner Library in Edmonton (June 14 to 29) and the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (September 18 to October 2).

The entries were evaluated by 19 senior design leaders based on the causes reflected in our re-envisioned categories, each selecting a judges' pick.
