RGD Certification Application and Portfolio Presentation now available in French

Francophones, c'est pour vous! Candidates can now submit their RGD Certification application including case studies and opt for their Portfolio Presentation to be in French.
"Design has no frontier, especially not languages. Being an RGD Member is having a community of open-minded creators at your back," offers Catherine Charbonneau RGD, who is a Member of the RGD's Certification Committee and helped with the translation of the Application form.
RGD Certification is a 4 step process:
- Apply to determine eligibility.*
- Take an open book, multiple-choice 80-minute Online Test.
- Present work virtually.*
- Receive your results and join RGD.
* Steps 1 and 3 are now available in French.
As part of Step #1, those interested in becoming RGD Certified must submit 6 pieces of professional work, demonstrating an ability to develop and implement strategic design solutions through a clearly-articulated process. For Step #3, RGD candidates virtually present the work submitted to 3 Portfolio Evaluators over 30 minutes.
The entire Certification Process may take as little as 2 weeks, if information is provided in a timely manner, or as much as 6 months if you require more time to move from one step to the next.
Complete the Certification by September 30, 2022, to receive free dues for the remainder of 2022 & all of 2023 OR a free pass to DesignThinkers Toronto. (Oct 27-28)
Plans are in the works to make the Online Test and other parts of the RGD Certification Process available in French in the future.

Les candidats peuvent désormais soumettre leur demande de certification RGD, y compris les études de cas, et choisir de présenter leur portfolio en français.
Pour l'étape n°1, il est demandé aux candidats à la certification de soumettre 6 réalisations professionnelles démontrant leur capacité à développer et à mettre en œuvre des solutions de design stratégiques à travers un processus clairement articulé. À l'étape n°3, les candidats présentent virtuellement les travaux soumis à trois évaluateurs de portfolio, en 30 minutes.
Terminez la certification avant le 30 septembre 2022 pour bénéficier d'une cotisation gratuite pour le reste de l'année 2022 et toute l'année 2023 OU d'un laissez-passer gratuit pour DesignThinkers Toronto (Oct 27-28).
