Who’ll You Be Joining:
ecobee’s in-house creative team prides itself in developing exceptional brand and product marketing communication experiences that put the customer first. We’re looking to add a passionate intermediate-senior graphic designer to our team on a 6 month contract to work on a variety of projects.

The focus of the work will be executing digital product campaign assets that would include static digital ads, video graphic assets, emails, social posts, gifs, etc.Your portfolio should showcase typography and layout skills, understanding of accessible design, and purpose driven design decision making. We want to know how you contributed to each project, and what your approach was to solving the design problem. Most importantly, your love for what you do must always shine through in your work. You are also a great team player has a ton of humility, thinks quickly and independently, can work in a fast-paced environment and maintains ecobee values at all times.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Participate in briefs, group meetings, and presentations to key stakeholders
  • Generate multiple concept designs based on an established creative direction to production with minimal supervision
  • Produce a wide range of customer-facing creative driven by user insights and the creative brief
  • Collaborate and take feedback from our creative leads
  • Effectively communicate creative solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Understand and maintain the integrity of ecobee brand and products through thoughtful and consistent design solutions

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years graphic design experience at agency and/or in-house with a digital focus
  • Portfolio with multiple work examples
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe CC and Figma
  • Ability to lead the design of a project small-medium sized projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, organized and excellent time management skills
  • A creative and collaborative mindset and a capability of balancing competing deadlines
  • Expertise in file production best-practices for print, digital and motion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - can communicate complex ideas, goals and problems simply
  • Experience with motion graphics a bonus!

  • A 45-minute first-round virtual interview – expect technical, behavioural, and situational questions

Our people are empowered to take ownership of their schedules with workflows that allow for flexible hours. Based on your job, you have an option of office, hybrid or fully remote work.
