I got involved in RGD as a Provisional RGD right after graduating from the York/Sheridan Joint Program in Graphic Design in 2017. Their webinars, events, and programs proved to be extremely impactful for me as I developed in my career. Whether it's being inspired from some of the best designers in the world at DesignThinkers or learning about the importance of Accessibility in webinars, I've grown and learned a lot since getting involved in the organization and I am excited to be involved as a Certified RGD now.

A few years ago, Michael Beirut spoke at DesignThinkers and I was completely star-struck after his presentation. The inspiration I was able to gain from his presentation still inspires me to this day.

I'm a designer because I love to help stakeholders and clients communicate their stories and messages in a clear and understandable way. There's something so satisfying about bringing clarity to a problem or puzzle that seems complex or overwhelming at first. Good design has the ability to create clarity and understanding.
