Company description
We joyfully create brand identities and design for both web and print!
Why am I an RGD?
I am an RGD because my community and the people I surround myself with are very important to me. I want to expand my network and strengthen the base I have. I am planning to raise the awareness of RGD in my home province through events and other opportunities as they arise.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
So far my most memorable moment is the Portfolio Review of my Case Studies! It was such a fulfilling experience. I love talking about my clients and the design process. Otherwise, I would have to say attending DesignThinkers 2018 was my next most memorable experience. Being surrounded by design-loving peers was a thrill I'll never forget.
Why am I a designer?
I am a Graphic Designer because everything I've done in life has lead me down this path. It wasn't a smooth journey, but I know I am exactly where I am meant to be. Whether it was redesigning forms to make them more user-friendly (before I knew what that meant) or drawing for hours for others, a creative career was in my future from an early age. I am a designer now because I value relationships, I love to help people, and it brings me great joy to do those things while also making the world a little more beautiful and usable in the process.
Why should you hire me?
You should hire me if you feel a connection. As important as good design work is, a connection and positive working relationship with your designer is key. I love working with passionate business owners on their brands.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to be doing the same thing with more grace. Processes, education, networking, self improvement. I hope all these things will help me grow and expand my knowledge, making me a better designer.
