Ed Normand owns a law-firm out in Orlando, Florida. He came to us wanting a brand-refresh, as his current brand was a bit staid, and not getting the attention it deserved. During our Brand Discovery & Strategy session, we found out that what they are really good at is winning class-action lawsuits against large conglomerates (these guys can take companies like Disney to court). We also learned that their primary target profile are judges and other referring lawyers. So we crafted a maverick brand for Normand PLLC. that positions them as the bold & fearless leaders in class-action lawsuits.

What is my most memorable RGD moment?Being able to mentor new design students just entering the design industry. One thing that teaching Design at Humber college has taught me, is that it's all about those light-bulb moments. When you teach a student (or a client) something that they didn't know previ0usly, you add more value in what you do than just the services and deliverables you provide. There's an old saying, “If you give a person a fish, you feed them for a day. If you teach a person to fish, you feed them for a lifetime." And those are the kind of clients I want to work with. Clients who have an insatiable appetite to better themselves, and create a business that will be personally & financially rewarding for years to come.
