Company description
Ellyn Lusis is the designer formerly known as Pigeon Design Lab. The graphic designer with a chronic illustration problem. Need creative branding, advertising, print, web? – Let’s chat.
Why am I an RGD?
RGD is a design community that is committed to championing advocacy and the integrity of the profession while supporting its members. Having the RGD designation commits me to a higher standard and assures new clients that I am a design professional to be trusted. Being an RGD member has been a great opportunity to stay connected with the design community while supporting the advocacy of the profession.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
Hands down it has to be DesignThinkers 2018 TO. My first -of what I know will be many- DesignThinkers. It was such an inspirational kick start to my year. Like the deep tissue massage of Design.
Why am I a designer?
I enjoy problem-solving for my clients through design and illustration and look for opportunities to collaborate with others to achieve communication goals. I love a good marketing challenge.
Why should you hire me?
Mix marketing and strategy, and pour it over design and illustration and you've got the design cocktail you've always wanted.
Refreshingly conceptual and clever, El Vetica Design is a creative agency that *sparks joy* in marketing and advertising. We have the *KonCept Mari* solution to your design problem.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
I am excited about where the next five years will take me. I've recently begun teaching Graphic Design at Humber College and have found it incredibly rewarding. I love learning new skills, and pushing myself further in design and illustration.
Contributions to RGD
I really enjoyed participating and winning in the seasonal #RGDChallenges competition. It was a great opportunity to flex design and illustration muscles (with no risk of pulling them;)
