Two long-standing charities, Camp Ooch and Camp Trillium, merged in 2020 to further their shared mission of normalizing the cancer journey for children and families. The challenge was to create a new brand that seamlessly integrated the emotional equity each organization had built over the years. The solution was a contemporary logo and identity that reflects the joy of healing through nature-inspired colors and a wordmark that signifies a time and place where life can feel normal and full of joy. The icon represents the campfire as a gathering place for friends and family.

Why am I an RGD?
I really believe in the mission of RGD, connecting designers and promoting a high standard of best practices, especially with regards to inclusivity and accessibility. One of the things that I appreciate the most is the active and engaged community. For anyone who recently joined, I would highly recommend becoming a part of a virtual community or diving into some of the active discussion on the RGD slack channel.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
Some of my most memorable "Aha!" moments have come at various DesignThinkers conferences. I remember seeing Jessica Bellamy talk about designing for marginalized communities and it really resonated with me and the work I do in the Non-profit sector.
Winning a SoGood design award was also pretty high up on the list of memorable moments!
Why should you hire me?
I’m an award winning designer who helps brands find their voice and connect with their audiences through compelling and emotionally rich graphic design. I believe that the best work comes out of close collaboration and partnership. With expertise across the spectrum of design practice, I am passionate about crafting brand identities, and developing immersive, effective brand communications that compel audiences and make them look twice.

My core skills include brand development and design, print design and advertising. I have experience across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, national charities and non-profit organizations, as well as consumer packaged goods.
