Why am I an RGD?RGD advocates for graphic design principals, practices and standards and it's a great way to continue learning, meeting new people, being exposed to different perspectives.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?2017 was my first Design Thinkers conference which I quite enjoyed. That said, I have also very much enjoyed the meet and greet functions I have attended.
Why am I a designer?It began with a love of drawing which grew into a love for solving visual communication problems. I have been very lucky in my career thus far – working with great people and great brands.
Why should you hire me?While I do have some 50,000+ hours of design experience working with some of the most competitive brands on the planet – I think the real reason I am hirable is my attitude. I wake up every single morning looking forward to whatever challenges the day has in store which people say makes me a pleasure to work with.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?I enjoy my full-time job with The National at CBC and so I can see myself there in 5 years. I would enjoy the idea of freelancing – something I have years of experience with and very much enjoy.
