The importance of domain names to branding

Presented by Andrew Merriam
Domain names are the most fundamental aspect of your branding: they are the foundation of both your web URL and email address. As the Internet has exploded in size, fewer brandable options have been available and too many creatives have settled for hyphens, misspellings and subpar domain options. Now, hundreds of new options beyond .com, everything from .design to .yoga, are available, opening up many new possibilities but leaving you with important branding decisions.
Andrew will educate on:
- What a domain is and what the options are
- How to choose between .com, .ca, .design, and the hundreds of other options you have
- Branding errors to avoid in domains and email addresses and how to capture your business in a single URL
- An introduction to a new RGD member benefit pertaining to .design domains and email addresses
