Wayfinding in Museum Settings as an Inclusive Ecosystem

Wayfinding in a Museum setting now serves many user types with differing needs through multiple channels. An effective design integrates all channels and responds to the lived experience of its diverse users. Example case will show development of the tactile map for the new ROM Dawn of Life Gallery as a prototype for future galleries.

Teo Herman is a visual communication strategies for signage and wayfinding projects for the built environment. His primary focus is on multi-modal transportation systems and cultural centres such as Artscape Launchpad (USGD & Graphis Awards), Eglinton Cross Town LRT with Metrolinx, OC Transpo and more.
