Presented by Amanda DeVries RGD, Marcos Terenzio RGD, Kayla English RGD and Elana Rudick RGD; moderated by Amanda Bolte RGD

Do you find the process of presenting your portfolio nerve-wracking? Wouldn't it be great to not only see examples of engaging projects, but also how they're put together for prospective clients or employers?

Join our diverse panelists of recently Certified RGDs as they break down their case study processes and answer questions about their experiences. This Webinar is perfect for the designer looking to see and learn how others present their work succinctly and effectively in the virtual world. Also, if you are thinking about getting Certified and want to see examples of how to do the presentation portion and create your case studies, this is the Webinar for you.

Presenters:

Amanda DeVries RGD
Amanda has been an independent brand consultant and graphic designer for 15 years, recently specializing in branding and packaging for food & beverage companies. She spent 10 years in Ottawa, before moving to Southwestern Ontario with the opportunity to work with small businesses and real people. She has also been a prop stylist on two cookbooks, thereby checking off items on her bucket list. Amanda will be presenting a refresh of the packaging of an energy bar, including insight into the process behind the scenes.

Kayla English RGD

Kayla English has been professionally playing with type, shapes and colour since 2010. Working in agency, freelance and in-house positions, she has worked alongside many different businesses and professionals to preach the value of thoughtful design and find solutions that balance both aesthetics and function. Currently freelancing under the name Woodrow Design Co, Kayla also scratches her entrepreneurial itch alongside her husband, managing a modern airplane hangar turned event venue and parenting her two young children. Kayla is presenting recent branding work for Monica Rosenke, a personal trainer, fitness professional and joyful movement ambassador.

Elana Rudick RGD

In 2009, Elana said goodbye to the world of cubicles and founded Design Is Yummy; a Montreal-based studio that specializes in crafting thoughtful and engaging design solutions. As an award-winning Creative Director and Graphic Designer, she feels lucky to have found a career that combines two of her passions; design and business. When she’s not working on her RGB glow, you can find her picking through design books and eating all-dressed pizza with pineapple. Elana will share her team’s work for a theatre company and talk about the challenges of pushing boundaries the Canadian way (politely).
