From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., we'll network and chat over food (provided by RGD). At 7:00 p.m., we'll divide into groups for discussions (based on your two selected topics) and then we'll move to new discussion groups for 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Topic: Inclusion in design professions: it's not just accessibility in our work – it's about who can/can't go to design school, who can/can't use designs tools, and what impact that has on design outputs.

About Eric: Eric is a graphic designer, photographer, and researcher. He has been employed as an in-house designer, writer, and photographer by large municipalities, police services, and international law firms. As a contract creative, Eric has worked with a range of businesses, and in particular restaurants from the national, regional, and local scale. He is a graduate student at OCADU, focusing his research on facilitating design thinking and literacy for blind people by increasing accessibility in woodworking shops.

About Jessica: Jessica has over 10 years of experience working in graphic communications and digital design roles in the government, environmental organizations, not-for-profits and small businesses. She has worked with clients across the province including Ontario Tourism, Daily Bread Food Bank, Moksha Yoga and Evergreen.
