This webinar looks at organizations who do collect metrics and how it helps their design teams behind the scenes.

Protecting time for creativity and resetting your client's expectations, presented by Wendy Millard RGD

We know what it's like as an in-house designer; everyone wants their project done yesterday, and no one understands how much time you need in order to deliver a successful design: "That will only take you an hour right?" Your team complains that their work is not valued by your internal clients. What's a design manager to do? Get your team onside to track their time so you can report on metrics, capacity of the team, establish project templates and workflows that work for everyone.
About Wendy Millard RGD
Wendy is the Director of Design Services at Empire Life and has an extensive background with in-house design & project management. With over 20 years working on the inside, She's exceptionally familiar with all the ins and outs to running a highly productive design team. Wendy’s formula for successful in-house design is to deliver high quality, award-winning work AND exceptional partnership with internal stakeholders.
Tracking Time IS NOT just About Dollars and Cents presented by Andrew Flaro
Tracking time is often considered something better left to agencies to make sure they bill their clients properly. As an In-House team, are you ready to learn what data you are missing out on by not tracking your time? Andrew will share with you the value of tracking time both from a money point of view and other uses that tracked time will have in managing your team.
About Andrew Flaro

Andrew, a senior Account Manager at FunctionFox, has helped many in-house creative teams with their project in-take and scheduling process (also getting more of them to track their time). He helps teams get the most out of their software so they can do what they do best, focus on staying creative.

Life among the number crunchers: Design metrics in a consulting environment by Christopher James Moorehead, P Eng, RGD

Working as a client-facing designer at a global accounting and consulting firm is radically different from being part of a studio or even a conventional in-house design team. At the same time, the standard performance metrics used in consulting are not necessarily an accurate measurement of the value of design. Chris will discuss how design performance can be measured, assessed and improved within a large, client-focused business environment.
