RGD was created by the Ontario Government to accredit, often now referred to as certify, graphic designers. RGD is the only graphic design association in North America to have this type of government legislation and is the largest graphic design association in Canada.
A non-profit, RGD is dedicated to fostering cooperation, communication and community within the graphic design industry. We offer programs that educate, inform and encourage design practitioners, managers, educators and students and support designers in their efforts to be valued and respected as vital partners of business, government and the non-profit sector.
