RGD Certification Sprint (Virtual) — Ethics

The Certification Sprint is a group study experience hosted by Certified RGD facilitators to prepare you for the Accessibility (September 26) and the Ethics (October 3) sections of the RGD Certification Test.

Accessibility section — Critiquing with accessibility in mind: September 26
During the session on Ethics, and with the guidance of a senior RGD, participants will work in teams to review various design projects from an accessibility perspective. These will include a website, wayfinding system, branding project and promotional campaign. Teams will complete worksheets provided with the goal of developing an understanding of the key principles of accessible design as outlined in the RGD's Accessibility Guidelines.
Ethics section — Learning through situational examples: October 3 During the session on Ethics, and with the guidance of a senior RGD, participants will work in small teams to draft situational examples, real or imagined, that address the rules and best practices outlined in the RGD Code of Ethics. These examples will then be presented to the group for discussion.
Each participant will receive:
