The Markham Board of Trade 25th Annual Business Excellence Awards organizers wanted design that would appeal to a diverse audience. They asked for fun and light-hearted; it was to be simple but powerful. In the end, this piece – which features an iconic silhouette of the New York skyline – was chosen as the best representation of over 100 designs, earning its place as the featured theme of the Gala.

Why am I a designer?
The easiest explanation is this: I love creative. I am a visual person – one who loves the art of story-telling in whatever form it takes. I gravitate to aesthetics and crave energy and interaction.
Why should you hire me?
While I am technically skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud software, Final Cut Pro, and work in both Mac and Windows environments, it is in strategy and ideation that I excel. I have an uncanny ability to see the big picture, and am able to both conceptualize and execute unique and exciting deliverables for the client.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
I see myself moving through a mid-level advertising agency in the Toronto or Vancouver area, working as an Intermediate Art Director/Designer, mentoring other young designers. I feel that I would have the real world knowledge to be able to give back, by sharing my experience with those Junior Designers.
