Are We There Yet? questions if our current world is living in a dystopia that was once warned about through fictional media and asks readers to reconsider such cautionary tales in order to take preventative actions for our current and future generations.

Why should you hire me?Rana Soliman is a passionate multidisciplinary Greater Toronto Area (GTA) based designer and a recent graduate of the York University/Sheridan College Bachelor of Design (Honours) program (YSDN). During Rana's time at YSDN, she was a four-time Adobe Design Achievement Award Semifinalist in 2018 for the Fine Art - Graphic Design / Print, Social Impact - Photography / Print / Illustration / Graphic, and Commercial - Print / Graphic / Illustration category, Hans Kleefeld Design Excellence Award recipient, and appointed Publication Project Manager for her 2018 Design Gradshow: The Next.
She has worked with many clients during her freelancing period, such as Sheridan College, Halton Co-operative Purchasing Group (HCPG), Mishkat Web Design, and more content creators.
Rana uses design as a catalyst for listening, problem-solving, and connecting the world around her. She utilizes design as a tool for challenging and questioning what's to come by using narratives, experiences, and words to shape the future. Through her designs, Rana wants to change the way we interact with technologies, environments, and our communities. She believes in the power of learning from one another, exploring new opportunities, and pushing boundaries.
Rana's interests stem from product design to brand strategy. With previous experience in prototyping literacy, stakeholder interviews, and live research-based user testing, Rana has successfully implemented her findings to create intuitive UI/UX experiences suited for target market users, in addition to proposing fully developed re-branding proposals and Request For Proposals (RFPs).
