Company description
Becoming Design Office is a brand design agency. We create super competitive visual identities, campaigns and brands for a wide range of people and planet-conscious companies. We value art, relationships and the success that thoughtful and strategic applied design brings to a company’s bottom line.
Why am I an RGD?
RGD is a necessary hub which binds designers across Canada and around the world. Between the annual events, award shows and opportunities to participate, I truly feel more connected to my design colleagues, thanks to RGD.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
My most memorable RGD moment was at the very first Design Thinkers Vancouver. I had attended several DT Toronto events, but seeing DT in my home town was something else. The level of keynote speakers was absolutely world class and I remember feeling a distinct sensation of pride in RGD, Vancouver and Canadian design.
Why am I a designer?
I love being a designer because it enables me to work with a wide range of business types and business leaders. This range of work and relationships makes for a new and unique challenge every day.

At our studio, I get to work with a talented and creative group who inspire me and challenge me to be a better creative.
Why should you hire me?
Accountability and creativity! I consider myself to be a reliable, hard working person. I also happen to be creative. I've found that these two things together have made me a relatively successful graphic designer.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
It is almost fall of 2022 (I'm dating this so that I can look back in 5 years and see how I did). In 5 years I would like to still be working with the team at Becoming. I can see us growing by 2-3 team members by then. Hopefully still working from our current office space.
