I was introduced to RGD by my predecessor who initiated the partnership between the college and RGD. During my first year in the position, I learned about the many benefits offered and saw the value of having my students introduced to RGD at the beginning of their careers. My students benefit greatly from their memberships and attending the DesignThinkers conference each year.

As a design educator and newly certified RGD, I feel I have professional support and feel a part of a strong community of designers who share common goals. Being an RGD Education Committee member allows me to stay connected and learn from other experienced educators.
