Why am I a designer?
At my core, I am a problem solver. My experience in living in several different countries and my previous education in psychology have allowed me to understand how people think and perceive information. Using visuals I like to solve communication problems and assuage communication problem areas between disparate parties. I believe that great design is often not boastful but works in harmony with the parameters it is surrounded by.
Why should you hire me?
I consider myself a lifelong student as I'm always looking for avenues to improve my skills and broaden my understanding of design. Whenever I approach a project, I like to take a 360-degree approach and dig in to consider all avenues that are possible within the time frame. I work well in groups and try to be as helpful as possible no matter what capacity I'm involved in. My education as well as my experience with living on 3 continents gives me a unique perspective that has shaped my practice thus far. My work originates from a place of empathy as I strive to understand target audiences first and foremost in my design process.
