November 6 and 7, creatives professionals from across Canada and beyond will gather at Toronto's Sony Centre for the Performing Arts to celebrate the power of design. Join colleagues, clients, suppliers and students for two days of inspiring talks, panels, workshops and events.
Many of this year's speakers are confirmed, including:
Joseph Duffy IV - Joseph follows in his father’s footsteps, dedicating his life to the business of design. After earning a BFA in Graphic Design, he worked at Fallon Worldwide until 2004, and today works on global brands as Design Director at Duffy & Partners.
Mary Lewis - Mary is Creative Director and founding partner of Lewis Moberly, based in London, UK and co-author of Understand Brands. Her awards include the DBA Grand Prix for Design Effectiveness and the D&AD President’s Award.
Ellen Lupton - Ellen is curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, director of the Graphic Design MFA program at Maryland Institute College of Art and author of numerous books on design.
Karen McGrane - Karen is Managing Partner at UX consultancy Bond Art + Science and formerly VP and National Lead for User Experience at Razorfish. She is the author of Content Strategy for Mobile (2012).
Debbie Millman - Named one of the most influential designers working today by GDUSA, Debbie is President of the Design Division at Sterling Brands and co-founder and Chair of the world’s first Masters in Branding at SVA. Debbie is the author of six books, including Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits (2013) and How To Think Like A Great Graphic Designer (2007).
