Graphic Designer - Toronto

SimEx-Iwerks is looking for an Intermediate Graphic Designer to join their ever-growing team. 


Your keen understanding of design principles, good grasp of print and working knowledge of digital and motion graphics is an asset. You can juggle multiple projects successfully, work independently when needed but also enjoy a collaborative atmosphere. You rise to the challenge of tight deadlines, understand the limitations of brand and IP guidelines, and are intrigued by the idea of a Friday donut club. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ability to collaborate closely with various stakeholders
Participate in attraction design and development
Create and manage production of signage for use at client and partner sites
Re-format and re-size key art graphics, incl. major studio marketing
Create or assist with the creation of motion graphics
Create show logos and key art
Design tradeshow graphics and collateral
Prepare graphics and photos for use in print and web
Prepare sales presentations and proposals
Layout, copyfit, assemble print projects
Project administration


2+ years in professional graphic design, both print and web
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.)
Keen eye for design and understanding of design principles
Post-secondary diploma or degree in design desirable, but not mandatory
Experience in large multi-disciplinary projects
A friendly and positive personality
Working knowledge of motion graphics is an asset
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is an asset
Illustration skills are an asset
