RGD launches New #OpenDialogue Campaign

The RGD is pleased to launch the #OpenDialogue campaign on Instagram. #OpenDialogue aims to start conversations about important issues that matter to design professionals and the design industry.

 

“This initiative was the brainchild of Jennifer Taback RGD, Reesa Del Duca RGD and I,” says Mel Sutjiadi RGD. “As designers, we felt that it was important to use our creative powers to bring to the podium other voices, identities, cultures, marginalized experiences and perspectives outside of the mainstream. We believe they are worth your—and your clients’—attention and care. We hope to work together with other RGD Members to bring inclusive design to the forefront, one dialogue at a time.”

 

How it works

 

The campaign is composed of Instagram posts that highlight and discuss a topic, statement or issue explored by an RGD Member. Each post shares a reflection and explanation on why the issue matters, and it also features a project that shows the importance of the topic in action.
