The RGD recognizes design faculty who have made outstanding contributions to student development and pedagogical research.
We are thrilled to announce that the RGD 2021 Design Educator Award of Excellence for Eastern Canada is presented to Dr. Ana Rita Morais.
"I cannot think of a more deserving year to celebrate educators and all they have accomplished over the past 16 months. Educators have been flexible, innovative and creative in their ways of adapting to the current state of the world. They set up such important networks and environments for the future of design and it's not often we get to appreciate their hard work. Being able to be a judge on the panel for this award was an absolute honour. All the nominations deserve an applaud for doing what you do in the design education space. Congratulations to Ana Rita for winning the Educators Award for Eastern Canada!" offers Bianca DiPietro RGD, RGD Director and Vice Chair of RGD's Education Committee.
