Slate, an exciting Vancouver-based clothing brand, wants to make an ethical and conscious fashion line to offer women beautiful but sustainable options. This project is a redesign of their website to develop a user-friendly E-commerce website reflecting their brand philosophy.

Nelson Silva, Creative Director, Works Design in Toronto, ON

As Creative Director, Nelson plays a lead role in setting the creative standard for Works Design, while ensuring that projects keep moving and teams stay motivated. He works collaboratively with designers, to make sure they have the support and opportunities they need to contribute their best work. He also works directly with clients, to transform their objectives into breakthrough creative.

 

 

Trevor Wall, Senior Art Director/Developer at Creative Fire

Over the past 20 years Trevor has established a distinctive voice in the development of corporate identities, annual reports, investor relations materials and websites for large-scale global companies. In 2012, Trevor began an international adventure that took him from Canada to Costa Rica – adding to his skills and insights while staying connected as a contractor abroad. Now he has returned to Canada and a full-time role with Creative Fire, working from New Brunswick and delivering additional expertise in digital design and development.
 

 

Kevin Charles Ward, Senior Art Director, Works Design in Toronto, ON

Kevin's career spans over 3 decades and has taken him to leadership roles at some of Canada’s top studios. He is guided by a strong commitment to content-driven communications. His primary purpose is to effectively match design and message, and coax excellence from project teams in ways that ensure clients get the best possible solution. His work has been recognized by the RGD SoGood Awards, CICA Corporate Reporting Awards and the ARC Annual Report Awards. For over 15 years, he has been actively involved in the research of benchmarks and best practices in financial and sustainability communications.
