CONTEXT
Riley’s is a quaint, family-run cidery on Bowen Island, BC. Their generations-old orchard is a secret garden of biodiversity with more than 800 kinds of apples. Riley's needed a brand that captured the heart of the cidery, and a packaging system that could easily flex for seasonal offerings.
METHOLOGY
It’s not just a cidery, it’s a living museum. We took a one-of-a-kind apple orchard rich in biodiversity and uncovered all that was truly exquisite. We used illustration to demonstrate the interconnectedness of the orchard, process and community.
RESULT
Their crisp packaging reflects the freshness and uniqueness of their ciders — all made the old-fashioned, pain-in-the-ass way, with craftsmanship and hands-on attention.
DESIGN DETAIL
We love the apple in the eye. It's a delightful symbol that truly summarizes the passion of the cider makers, and can now be found throughout the Cidery on signage, merch and glassware.
