This look book was created for the Montreal fashion brand Elena Wang's Spring 2017 collection. For this project, I proposed the concept, cast the model, built the set, styled the clothing, ran the photoshoot, selected then edited the pictures, designed the layout and wrote the corresponding content.

Why am I an RGD?
As a solo designer, I craved a creative community and found that home at RGD. The members are supportive of each other and build each other up making the world of design better for everyone.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
In 2019, I was doubting myself as a designer because all design seemed to be about beautiful branding. The first RGD conference I attended was for In-House Designers and they spoke a lot about process design and all things outside of branding. It was the first time I felt validated as a designer (by other well established designers) who focuses on user experience in both digital and physical media.
Why am I a designer?
My whole life I’ve thrived on trying to understand how things work and how people think. That coupled with my natural tendency for creative fields, naturally lead to working as a graphic designer. It’s allowed me to nerd out on niche topics I otherwise wouldn’t have been exposed to, and consider projects from multiple points of view.

It’s been extremely fulfilling working on projects and then seeing people interact with them. Every time I learn a little more about what drives people and keeps my passion growing.
Why should you hire me?
I am dedicated to my clients and strive to understand their niche intimately to better attract their desired end user’s attention. I view design as a partnership, and look forward to working collaboratively to bring both our visions to life.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I will have built up my freelance clients and will be working in various industries continually learning about new domains and avenues of design. Having those varied clients will leave me to spend time to go away on Canoe trips, hiking trails, and sampling food from across to country to reinvigorate and refuel my creative self and enjoy all of life to the fullest.
