The purpose-built iPad app and experience design proved more successful than simply offering patrons iPads and laptops to use the web-based application on the TD website. Pivot’s design solution was successful because it took into consideration the entire context of use within the airport setting. TD has engaged the Pivot team on a recurring basis to update the app for various kiosk environments—most recently the Canadian International AutoShow.
