Company description
M81 Creative is a Toronto-based branding & graphic design studio for small/medium businesses & entrepreneurs. My success as a solo-prenuer has been in my strategy-driven, holistic approach to design. I specialize in branding, visual identity, corporate communications and print & digital design. My passion is to truly understand each of my clients unique requirements, then develop brand strategies and design solutions that solve real business problems.
I understand and value the investment in my services. Therefore, I aim to form partnerships with all of my clients that nurture long-term, meaningful relationships.
Why am I an RGD?
I want to be part of a community that practices a moral code of conduct and supports its members. Becoming an RGD means I adhere to a clearly defined set of guiding principles.
It protects potential clients, knowing their investment is going to be managed by a certified professional.
What is my most memorable RGD moment?
Receiving my RGD certification approval. I felt like I had truly “made it”.Why am I a designer?
It’s in my DNA. I knew this was the career path for me from a very early age. I’m analytical and solution-driven. I truly enjoy being handed a challenge and being able to craft something that didn’t previously exist to overcome it. Designing without purpose doesn’t work for me. I need to know that I am working towards a goal, a measurable success. I feel incredibly fortunate every day that I’m given the opportunity to produce work that makes a difference for others. Why should you hire me?
I am an award-winning graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. I hope my work speaks for itself and translates the care and thought I put into every single project. I believe that design is about a collaboration, a partnership. I understand the value of the investment made in my services. I always speak openly and honestly with my clients. I’m always conscious of budgets and timelines.
Working for reputable agencies and running my own studio has given me a wide range of experience. My core skills include brand identity, corporate communications, and editorial design.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
Hopefully doing more of what I am doing now! Running a successful studio.Perhaps getting back into teaching to support the future creatives coming up in the industry.
