Andrew Boardman RGD

Andrew is a designer, studio founder, artist and educator. He manages Manoverboard, a purpose-driven studio with the mission of creating a better world by design. Manoverboard is a Certified B Corporation — the first in Manitoba. Andrew teaches design, theory and visual research methods at the School of Art at the University of Manitoba. His research interests include the history of visual culture, the language of social change and the nature of mind. His new newsletter about design and consciousness is called Gornisht



Tyson Hynes
Partner and Creative Director at District Design Co in Halifax, NS

Tyson is the co-founder and creative director at District Design Co., a multidisciplinary brand agency based that designs powerful brand, product and retail experiences for clients across Canada. Tyson is passionate about using design to help small companies grow, big companies innovate, organizations thrive and communities become happier and healthier. He has developed award-winning work for some of Canada’s best-loved brands, recognized by Cannes, London International, Marketing, Applied Arts, the Ice Awards and The Dieline.



Jessica Leong
Associate Creative Director at Frontier in Toronto, ON

Jessica is a detail-oriented creative director who leads the Frontier design team to craft thoughtful and engaging experiences for clients big and small. She has taught graphic design at OCAD University and was previously a Creative-Professional-in-Residence there. Previously, Jessica was lead designer at the Design Exchange, and has also worked on teams at ERA Architects, Indigo Books and Bruce Mau Design.




Wilson Wong
Partner and Creative Director at Everbrave in Calgary, AB

Wilson is the creative compass at Everbrave, a “growth agency” dedicated to helping clients expand their businesses and embolden their brands. Over a 20+ year career, he’s propelled a diverse range of clients to achieve their goals and remain relevant in our changing world. Wilson has been a valued mentor to young creatives, and is a member of the Alberta University of the Arts Program Advisory Committee. He has long been an active force in Calgary’s independent film community.
