RGD Designathon - Halifax, Ottawa, Sudbury, Toronto, Victoria

RGD is excited to announce the date of our Designathon, a 12-hour design challenge where design students and recent grads work in teams on a real-life design project to provide pro bono design services for a non-profit organization.

Date: Saturday, March 2, 2019

Time: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm (specific to time zone of location)

Locations: Halifax, Ottawa, Sudbury, Toronto, Victoria


Open to Student RGDs, Junior Affiliates & Prov RGDs.


At this 12-hour event, design students and recent grads will work in teams on a variety of non-profit projects.

Student RGD, Junior Affiliate and Provisional RGD Members are invited to sign up to participate in this event. Teams of 3-4 participants will be provided with a project brief, meet with their client and be led by a Certified RGD. This event is a great opportunity to connect with fellow designers, network and receive mentorship, while working on a real-life design project for a great cause!

Non-profit organizations are invited to submit a design project to be considered for the event where teams of design students and recent graduates led by senior creative professionals will provide pro bono services. Apply here for future Designathon events.

Industry professionals will mentor each team, helping to direct the creative work and provide guidance throughout the day. Click to see the results of our last Designathon which took place in multiple locations across Canada.
