• Develop programming for RGD’s DesignThinkers Conference, promote the event and engage with attendees both in-person and online.
• Share inspiring and educational video talks from our events through the RGD Video Archive.
• Host live, virtual professional development webinars that are accessible from anywhere in North America. These sessions cover industry trends, business best practices, insights

Chair: Kathleen Scott RGD, Kincardine, ON
Kathleen is an award-winning designer who brings creative solutions to corporate communications. For over a decade, she has been Creative Strategy Team Lead at Bruce Power where they deliver all things design, including a complete rebrand for the company in 2019. In 2017, they were honoured to be the design partner for RGD’s In-House Design Awards. As a Director on the RGD Board and Chair of the Events Committee, Kathleen often moderates webinars and leads initiatives that support in-house designers.
Vice Chair: Alexandra Vranjesevic RGD, Newmarket, ON
With a proven track record in brand transformation and a passion for captivating design, Alex is an experienced Creative Director dedicated to delivering exceptional results. She specializes in creating immersive brand experiences, leveraging innovative digital solutions and incorporating user-centric design methodologies. By staying at the forefront of trends and pushing creative boundaries, she has successfully elevated numerous brands to new heights. As a collaborative leader, Alex excels in guiding and inspiring design teams to achieve outstanding outcomes. With a relentless drive for excellence and a commitment to delivering impactful design solutions, she is poised to make a significant impact in any organization ready to redefine their brand presence.
Carolina Balderas Provisional RGD, Surrey, BC
Originally from Mexico, where she obtained a BA in Media and Communication Production, Carolina is a graphic designer working in public service in BC. She has a passion for branding, editorial and inclusive design. She graduated as the 2021 Valedictorian of Toronto Film School’s online Graphic Design and Interactive Media program. She also freelances through her own
design studio, supporting small businesses with their design needs.
Faron Dawe RGD
Moncton, NB
Faron is a freelance designer and principal at
FARON.DESIGN, focused on brand visual identity design, web user interface design and consulting in-house teams on larger design-based projects. With 20+ years of experience in the creative and design space, Faron has worked with clients from a variety of sectors, providing solutions in visual identity, print, web design and more. During his tenure as a post-secondary design educator, he led instruction on multiple courses, including Design Principles, Visual Branding, Colour Theory, Print and Layout, UI Design and The Business of Design.

Meghan D'Mello RGD, Toronto, ON
Meghan is a designer specializing in print, illustration and motion with a passion for international development, education and gender equality. For the past 10 years, she has prioritized working with socially conscious businesses, not-for-profits and organizations that advance human rights – using design as a tool to bring about positive change in Canada and communities around the world.
Nicole Duncan RGD, Kingston, ON
With 18 years of experience, Nicole Duncan has a Bachelor of Design with honours from York U in addition to formative design education from the Bauhaus Universität. Nicole began her career in Toronto in retail design, then gained experience in advertising. A passion in physics took her to Montreal to study sciences at McGill. There she founded her own studio, Nicole Duncan Design, which she now runs from Kingston. Her natural curiosity and interest in learning new things drives her to learn each and every client's business deeply. This deep insight powers Nicole to help her clients exceed their goals with creative design solutions that are beautifully uncomplicated, insightful and effective.
Selena Mangoni Provisional RGD, Toronto, ON
Selena is a Visual Designer who completed a Business Management Degree from Niagara University and decided she wanted to turn her passion for art into a career, when she attended Toronto Film School for Graphic Design and Interactive Media. She now works at a production company designing print and digital materials and found a new love for UI/UX, which is now her main focus.
Maggie Ostler RGD, Toronto, ON
Maggie is an award-winning, critically-thinking creative director with 15+ years of hands-on graphic design, art direction and brand management experience. She is a life-long learner, earning an Honours BA in Art History and Renaissance Studies from U of T, a Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Humber College and most recently a Brand Management Certificate from U of T’s Continuing Studies program.
Andres Ramirez Provisional RGD, London, ON
Andres is an In-House Graphic Designer at InnoSoft Canada Inc. He practices a diversity of design ranging from email campaigns and coding landing pages to animating user interfaces and illustration. He is a Graphic Design graduate from Fanshawe College and is a member of their Program Advisory Committee where he advises the College concerning the development, currency, and community acceptance of its programs.
